Kira remarked how amazed she was that so much could be done in four days! She remembered people saying that the Bingham Cottage was beyond repair and as she looked around, she felt it becoming a home once again.
From Juanita Roushdy: The task for the week was to restore the front deck to its original shape, repair the roof, and replace shingles, and clean out the interior of the cottage.
From Juanita Roushdy: FOHI is having a reunion and fundraiser to celebrate the Hog Island Audubon Camp’s 75th anniversary during the weekend of August 20-21. Meet old friends, share stories, learn about and discuss FOHI’s plans for the future, and enjoy good food.
From Juanita Roushdy: In less than 8 hours, Linda and her group raised more than $4,700 for the “Adopt a Muffin” Project for Janii’s stove from campers and FOHI volunteers.
