Hog Island is part of the Todd Wildlife Sanctuary, which includes 30 acres of woods and meadows on the mainland, as well as the 330-acre Hog Island located 1/4 mile offshore. 

On the mainland there are three interpretive trails, a seasonal visitor’s center and a public parking area. Project Puffin has their summer field offices and visitor center on the mainland.
