Egg Rock is off limits during the nesting season. However, during the fall session of Maine Seabird Biology and Conservation on September 11-16, you can land on Egg Rock and help restore the habitat for puffins, Atlantic Terns and Roseate Terns.

Kira remarked how amazed she was that so much could be done in four days! She remembered people saying that the Bingham Cottage was beyond repair and as she looked around, she felt it becoming a home once again.
From Juanita Roushdy: The task for the week was to restore the front deck to its original shape, repair the roof, and replace shingles, and clean out the interior of the cottage.
