Part of FOHI’s commitment to making the Audubon Camp at Hog Island a sustainable venture is to provide volunteers to help with opening and closing the camp and then to help during the program sessions. Our volunteer team is growing. Many are finding Hog Island to be their summer home, spending time with returning friends.
Our volunteer brochure gives an overview of what to expect.

I was a student assistant way back in 1961 and second boatman in 1962. Please let me know if you come uo short some summer for volunteers . . . am flexible and could possibly “jump in” at the last minute. “Noting is accomplished unless someboday cares”.
Hello Joe, This is a much-belated response. So glad to hear from a former student assistant and second boatman. We can always use a volunteer such as yourself. And your quote is so true. It has proved itself time and time again with Hog Island. I hope to see you back on the island. Juanita
